This is a calm craddle song was written by Zoltán Gárdonyi (1906-1986), a hungarian compoer. He studied with Zoltan Kodaly and Paul Hindemith. Inspite of that the piece has a calm, romantic, harmonious athmosphere.

I use the oboe and the clarinet intermittendly for the solo melody.
