Description:	"Sechs Choralvorspiele ohne Opuszahl" Max Reger’s Choralvorspiel on “Es kommt ein Schiff, geladen” unfolds as a deeply expressive meditation on the Advent chorale. Rather than presenting the melody plainly, Reger weaves it into a rich, continuously flowing texture, allowing the chorale to emerge gradually from dense harmonic layers. This creates a sense of expectation and quiet mystery that perfectly reflects the Advent theme of awaiting the Incarnation.
