The Pacific Theme

Here comes the - I guess - first official upload for the upcoming set of Pipeloops (after the sneak preview of WillF). You hear the organ of the Auenkirche in Berlin-Wilmersdorf. A romantic instrument originally built by Furtwängler-Hammer. It is the second largest instrument in Berlin (the largest is the great Sauer organ in the Berlin Dom).

Here some film music of Hans Zimmer (together with Geoff Zanelli and Blake Neely), the Theme of the HBO series "The Pacific". The organ arrangement is based on an arrangement by Brian Sadler for brass quintett. It shows a little bit the symphonic qualities of the organ as well as the Horn in the auxiliary division.
