As you know I'm very interrested in french baroque and classical organ. Of course, there are some existing samples that I don't use (not because of the quality of the sample, only because of the organ builder that maintains these organs.... he is not a reference imho). On the second hand, I've the chance to play real organs from 1720 and 1775.
But when I discovered that this one of Souvigny was sampled, I waited ad purchased it. I played this organ for pleasure and for a concert. I'm a closed friend of the organist.
As many french organ, this one is perfect for music composed after 1750. That's why I recorded here some music of this unknown composer, Monsieur Le Clerc, organist in Paris around 1780.
1. Magnificat du septième ton
2. Messe du premier ton. Kyrie
6:50
3. Gloria
11:43.
the sample is only in stereo. It needs some improvements. I hope the producer will publish a patch.
