Dieter Blum (*1964) is a contemporary German organist and composer.
He composes chorale arrangements in various styles, ranging from the Baroque to the Modern.
His "Orgelstücke zum Gotteslob" (Organ Pieces for Praise of God) are very popular among church organists because they offer something for every taste.
I particularly like his chorale arrangements in the Baroque style; a prime example is his 3rd Prelude on the chorale "Nun lobet Gott im hohen Thron," which I occasionally play during the entrance to church services.
