This is a very fun piece to play on a large instrument, such as this Skinner in LA! Just as in most of his works, the Bédard tonal language is instantly recognizable. The inner movements are very expressive, and showcase the quieter sounds of this Skinner.

The last movement is--I think--very silly: part hymn melody, part action hero movie music theme! But, like I said, I'm having fun. :)

Played on the 1927 IV/P 62 EM Skinner organ at Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles, California. Virtualized for Hauptwerk use by Evensong Music.

Some reverb has been added artificially in Hauptwerk 7.
