Concert de flûtes - Echo Aria & Fuga

From a collection of clavier pieces of the early 18th century. An aria and fugue by an unknown author.
As is often the case at this time, it is not clear whether the pieces are intended for the harpsichord or the organ. These two were probably not intended to be performed together as a pair, but I find that the aria in the form of an echo together with the fugue make it a true spring concerto. The bright flutes of the Riepp organ create a cheerful bird concert. The lively fugue blends happily into the song.
