The Allegro vivo is a small toccata in b minor. Short but everything one needs in a French toccata is here : a model of concision. The playing is not that clean, but I was fed with takes which alway had a slip here or there ; so I gave up the struggle for a clean take.
The Très lent, to wash ears after the toccata, is a deep and rather dark meditation in G # minor. Here again, Fleury manages to install quite an original atmosphere in less than 2 minutes while using refined harmonies.
