Elias Nikolaus Ammerbach (1530–1597) was a German organist and arranger of the Renaissance period.
He was organist of St. Thomas's Church in Leipzig from 1550 until his death.
In 1575, he published "Ein neu künstlich Tabulaturbuch," the first printed collection of organ music in Germany.
