Did Mendelssohn ever get to know the magnificent Stumm organ in Meisenheim Castle Church ? We don't know, but I think he would have loved it !
What I love so much about this organ is that its wonderfully warm, full and clear sound is perfectly suited not only to Baroque and Classicism, but also to early Romantic music.
