He was an American composer, including many film scores, orchestra conductor, arranger, record producer and musician (oboe and piano)
Band of Brothers was a mini-series on HBO concerning WWII. It features interviews with some of the surviving soldiers from the campaigns fought on the European fronts.
Kamen has written a beautifully somber theme for this. It adapts well to the big, sweeping romantic sounds for which this organ is so capable.
