A small window of opportunity has opened up for me and after a long break I have a composition for you again .....
I've already finished a few dance movements (Saltarello, Minuet, Bourree and a Sarabande), but now I'm missing a Prelude, an actual festive-sounding overture. Naturally composed as a French overture, strictly in 4 voices with an introductory Grave and a formal fugue in 4 voices.
We hear the wonderful voices of the Mascioni organ in Giubiasco (in the Swiss canton of Ticino). Did I mention that I was able to visit this wonderful instrument during our holiday? Never mind - enjoy listening now!
