The Harmonies du soir op.72 are so at home on Steinmeyer's post-romantic German sound that I wanted to try what the result could be with a typical French sound like Caen's.
IMHO, the Cavaillé-Coll does the job without any scandal, but the result sounds a bit like a German movie dubbed in French language : not awful, but far from being worth the original.
All in all, a dispensable upload but, as the job was done.....
