Choral, Opus 25 No 6

I just love the strings on the new BIS St Mary Redcliffe sample set, so I thought I'd upload a simple piece to demonstrate some of them. This piece is by Flor Peeters (1903 – 1986) and comes from his second Heures Intimes collection. Each piece is fairly short and easy to play, but has depth nevertheless. The first Heures Intimes collection is similar and forms Op. 17. I thank Rien Schalkwijk for introducing me to these pieces.

Following the composer's registration instructions, this recording uses strings from two manuals coupled together. The registration is:
