| Description: | Unfortunately, I can neither listen to and comment on the many interesting new recordings here on Contrebombarde nor post new contributions myself at the moment, because a major domestic construction site means that I hardly get to play the organ.
Nevertheless, I would like to mark the day with at least a small upload, because it will be about a year (to be precise, on December 5, 2023) since I posted my first recording here. (Unfortunately, I was unable to get to the organ on December 5 of this year, so my anniversary post is two days late...)
At the time, I played Max Reger's chorale prelude “Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme” op. 67 no. 43, and so I decided to use this chorale again for my 30th upload – but this time in a version by Reger's opponent Sigfried Karg-Elert (1877–1933). |
