Genre:
Medieval and Renaissance
Description:
Antoine Francisque (1570-1605) was French luthist and composer.
The "Branle" was a popular dance where the dancers formed a circle and held hands ; they swinged their arms at the music's tempo.
I couldn't find what is "Montirande", but it's probably the name of some village or town of the Renaissance period.
That's, IMHO, quite a fresh and rejoicing music.
