This organ was located in St. Lorenz church at Nuremberg as a kind of transept organ. After the reorganization of the organ complex of this church the Steinmeyer instrument was installed at St. Magnus church Marktoberdorf, embedded into fine acoustics. The organ is a remarkable example of german organ building after the war. The high quality of voicing and the fine and fresh sound of each single stop can be heard in this recording, using a fantastic sample set, published some years ago by Pipeloops.
