Carson Cooman, organ
English composer Tim Knight (b. 1959) was born in Northallerton and started his musical life as a chorister at York Minster under Francis Jackson. Knight composed his first piece of music at age 8 and in the years since has held a very active career as a composer/arranger, choral director, music publisher, and clinician. For 22 years he served on the faculty of the Yorkshire College of Music and Drama, including 16 years as its Principal.
