This short three-part Capriccio (composed 1658) by Johann Jakob Froberger (1616-1667) is intended as an example of how this music may have sounded in the monastery church in Ottobeuren. Like the works of Muffat, Kerll and others, Froberger's music was part of the standard repertoire there.
