The Queen of Denmark's March

I recorded this new piece by John Ross for Australia Day 2024. Mary Elizabeth, Her Majesty The Queen of Denmark, Countess of Monpezat, was born on 5 February 1972 in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. So this organ solo features a little of "Waltzing Matilda", giving it something of an Aussie flavour. The "Scotch snap" rhythms in bar 14 and similar spots are references to the Scottish background of the Queen's father. John says "I hope that the piece might be a bit of fun for the player and the listener!". The score is available via the link below. (Rest easy, Jeremiah Clarke!).
