Gene Clarke (b. 1948) was born in Selma, Alabama and was educated at the University of West Alabama and the University of Alabama. He has been active both as a secondary school teacher (of both music and computers) and a church musician. His compositions have been published by various houses, including Lorenz Publishing Co. and Leupold Editions.
