Sonate G-Dur - Gegrüßt sei'st Maria

Christmas is ominously close. Time for a very Christmassy piece based on the melody of a song from beautiful Burgenland.
I've played it over and over again in the last few days and sung along with it powerfully.
My composition again follows the same three-part pattern, song movement, trio and fugue. You can already tell from the sparing use of accidentals that I want the melody to be in the foreground and have forced myself to modulate very sparingly .....
In the fugue, however, I had a "chromatic" fit.
Anyway - have fun with this composition!

Gabriel:
Gegrüßt sei'st, Maria, jungfräuliche Zier,
Du bist voller Gnaden, der Herr ist mit Dir.
Ein ganz neue Botschaft, ein unerhört's Ding
von der himmlichen Hofstatt ich, Gabriel, bring.
Maria:
Was sind das für Reden, was soll dieses sein?
Wer will zu mir kommen ins Zimmer herein?
Die Tür ist verschlossen, die Fenster sind zu.
Wer ist, der mich stört in der nächtlichen Ruh?
Gabriel:
Fürcht Dich nicht, Maria! es geschieht Dir kein Leid,
ich bin zu Dir kommen verkündigen groß Freud,
denn Du sollst empfangen und tragen ein' Sohn,
den die Menschen verlangen viel tausend Jahr schon.
Maria:
Ich kanns nicht recht fassen in meinem Verstand,
ich wills Gott überlassen, der göttlichen Hand:
Sein Wille geschehe! Wenns Gott so gefällt
so will ich gern tragen den Heiland der Welt.
