Chorale Prelude on 'Thaxted'

Last September, I was honored to be the dedicatee of this composition by the beloved Graham Twist. The piece itself is wonderful and a joy to play, even if I don't play it particularly well. The harmonies remind me of those used commonly by Dom Gregory Murray, a personal favorite of mine.

This recording was made after minimal practice soon after the piece was released so please pardon the many, many mistakes. I do like this piece at an elegiac tempo. Played on the amazing Alessandria organ.
