| Description: | op.11 Nr.14
A quiet, reflective composition, an adagio introduces it, truly slow at 40 BPM. Thus, with only 32 bars of music, we arrive at over 3 minutes of playing time.
Unlike my previous works, the prelude would be quite playable.
For this, the two upper voices would have to be in the 1st and 2nd manuals, while the bass voice would have to be played by the pedal - a solvable task at a tempo of 40 BPM. I would be very happy to hear the Adagio played live ....
While the prelude is in quiet, even time, the fugue is in odd time. It is for 3 voices and should be played really fast.
Much joy now with my composition! |
