The composer may be Russian: Vladimir Vavilov (1925 - 1973), although it is sometimes attributed to Italian composer Giulio Caccini (1551 -1618)

The American Classic XL is emulating some of the sounds Virgil Fox made on his 1959 album: "Vale of Dreams."
