Samuel Walter (1916–1987) — Prelude on “Liebster Jesu” (1965) for organ

American organist and composer Samuel Walter (1916–1987) studied at Boston University, Union Theological Seminary (with Seth Bingham), and in France (with Nadia Boulanger). He was music director at Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in New York City and taught on the faculty of Rutgers University, Boston University, and Union Theological Seminary.
