Description: |
Though Kehl's music is mostly manualiter, with occasionally a rather lonely pedal note written in, sometimes he writes a full swing pedaliter piece. The choral prelude to "Was mein Gott will, das gescheh allzeit' is one of these rare pieces.
Even if it features a full swing pedal part, the composition shows every sign of Kehl's terribly effective way of composing: minimum means, maximum effect. The real problem I had with this piece was choosing a suitable registration. The left hand part goes rather low, so it becomes easily undistinghishably from the pedal part.
At the end of the video I accidentally knock over an empty coffe cup, so hence the wierd face
