Fantasia and Fuge in G Minor BWV 542

Happy 20th Birthday Hauptwerk and Organ Art Media! OAM is offering 20% off for the month of October https://www.organartmedia.com/en/ - and I have for a very long time had my eye on the very special sampelset of the Trost organ of Waltershausen. Built from 1724-30, it has been carefully restored and today exists in its original state representing a valuable reference as an authentic "Bach organ" - BWV 542 seemed like a perfect way to celebrate adding this magnificent instrument to my library.

I have tremendous respect for Prof. Helmut Maier: He established the Organ Art Library project in 2002, and over the years he has documented many instruments of historical significance. We are in his debt!! His recording techniques and processing are meticulous - designed to remain as close to the original as is possible.

In respect of this I have made no adjustments to the Hauptwerk audio in this case. Samples are loaded in maximum resolution, with Hauptwerk's internal audio processing set to 96kHz and all quality settings at maximum. The resulting stereo file is uploaded. In my room I am splitting up the sound to add 3D space across my multiple audio-channel. Let me know what you think!
