The composer of this piece is Giles Taylor (b 1962) and he is currently the Director of Music at St Mary’s Anglican Church, Whitkirk, Leeds, in the diocese of Ripon, UK. This piece was first heard as the postlude to Choral Evensong at the Cathedral of Ss Peter & Wilfrid, Ripon, on 13 May 2018. The piece was composed for the Ripon Cathedral New Music Week and it is an effective and cheerful recital piece or voluntary.
