1766 Riepp Dreifaltigkeits Organ, Ottobeuren, Germany

| Description: | Just found by chance an interesting rare live video with Karl Richter at the Riepp.-Dreifaltigkeits Organ from 1978 and tried to reproduce it with the virtual Riepp.
The Richter recording was done in the crossing of the Abbey (with much too much acoustics there)
Very interesting to hear Richters (non-historical...) approach:

Registration using the full Grand and Plein Jeu (!), which is possible with this organ.
Very typical for Richter, he doesn't care about "historically informed performance".
I like his non-conforming interpretation with the unique full body sound of this instrument.
Mix: 65 Front, 95 Rear, Live-Midi
The Riepp is now finished in beta state |
