Fugue sur un prélude à la nouvelle année

While browsing through Jean-Paul's compositions, I came across his beautiful Prélude Du Nouvel an, which appealed to me in an extreme way. The parallel play of the melody in uneven time and the counterpoint in the form of duols is absolutely ingenious. When I heard it, I knew immediately that I had to write a fugue, and here, after a few days, the piece is now finished. I tweaked the tempo, the reverberation, then, following Piotr's advice, I deactivated "release sample scaling", and lo and behold, my first purchased sample set has become my favourite!
