Description:	Vidas Pinkevicius recently wrote some beautiful compositions on Ukrainian Folk Songs. This piece is on the folk song "Прощай, Село Ріднесеньке", translated "Farewell, Dear Country Home". I can write words about the horriful situation in Ukraine, but I think music says it all. This piece represents a sadness and a longing towards home as it once was, that only Ukrainians can understand. The village in the picture is Kvasy in the Zakarpats'ka Oblast. A village surrounded by mountains.
