Recently I'm looking more into keyboard works of baroque composers, meaning pieces which are meant for both harpsichord and organ. Especially the keyboard oeuvre of Bach is largely considered as being meant for harpsichord, but in the baroque period there wasn't a stringent line between organ and harpsichord. And when you listen to a piece like this very fine Fuge, I think it's clear how good it sounds on organ.
I liked to play it on one of the oldest organs of Germany. The Positiv however was added later and is very appropriate for baroque. And the meantone temperament gives it a bit of spice.
