Graham Twist wrote a beautiful chorale prelude on 'Old Hundredth'. The melody of this hymn comes from Psalm 134 of the Genevan Psalter. That's how I know this tune. The third verse of Psalm 134 is often sung after a baptism. Although probably not intended by Graham, the 6/8 metre gave it a cradling character.
Graham likes Cavaillé-Coll organs very much, so the sample set of the organ at Oloron-Sainte-Marie was the logical choice. Graham dedicated this piece to Dr Ausra Motuzaite-Pinkeviciene.
