This selection was written for an organ like this American Classic sample set..... it has all the stops called for by the composer. I was recently gifted a printed copy of the sheet music. It is part of the collection: "Seven Folktone Poems For the Organ by Richard Purvis," which you can find from time to time on sites like Ebay.

Our good friend here on CB, Agnus_Dei reminded me of the expansive works of Richard Purvis. I also need to say, the first person I heard play this selection is Chris Elliott, who had the honor of knowing the composer.

It is a beautiful selection to show off the sounds of an American romantic type organ. Trickier then it seems.... your feet can never leave the swell pedals, and it needs constant finger substitutions in order to get the legato and phrasing it demands.
