The discovery of this new software is the occasion to come back after a long silence. My project with the Cocquiel MS is always going on. I needed to have some rest to prepare concerts and my next recording... next week. I was also very involved in the preparation of the feasts for the 500 years of the church were I play a nice organ (.... that you'll discover soon.... I hope).
What can I say about this beta version ? I love the Kam organ... absolutly great. Some improvements are needed in the software, but it installs quickly, organs load quickly, it doesn't need a lot of memory.... and it sounds great !
I had some problems with the recorder that I don't find very practical, but that's not the most important. I didn't explor all in this software... just installed and played with minimal adjustments. I must say that I find Sweelinq very interresting... and a serious competitor for HW.
I don't know if the final version will obliged to have the computer always connected to the net. I don't want that my dedicated computer to VPO stays connected.
I hope it will be at an affordable price and samples too.
So I decided to record the same piece on both organs. I choose some close registrations.
