It's been a very long time since I've uploaded anything to the Concert Hall, but I've been enjoyed so many of the performances from others. I'm in awe of the abilities of so many on here, not least their ability to record with no mistakes. Something about the record button gives me the jitters.
Lockdowns in the UK have given me the excuse the record weekly voluntaries for our live-streamed Masses and so I now have a catalogue of mostly imperfect recordings.
I first heard Lübeck's Praeambulum in E in the Concert Hall here and fell in love with the piece and had to learn it. I've listened to a variety of performances online and the speeds of the different sections vary from recording to recording. I hope this interpretation passes muster! The Schnitger-Hinsz-Freytag organ at Noordbroek seems pretty apt for this North German music.
