Description:
Prelude in D is a composition based around a modern German hymn "ob ich sitze oder stehe", itself a snappy, up-tempo hymn, but given the Anglican improvisation treatment here. After a soft start, the piece builds gradually to full organ before ending with a soft reprise of the main theme.
