Jones (1932–1997) was born in Illinois and educated at the University of Redlands, the University of Minnesota, and the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago. He taught music at schools and colleges in Hartford, Connecticut and Detroit, Michigan. Jones composed prolifically and wrote hundreds of works in many genres. Published by Shawnee Press, Inc.
