Composer: * My Own Composition
Sample Producer: Milan Digital Audio
Sample Set: Notre Dame de Metz Mutin/Cavaillé-Coll
Software: Hauptwerk IV
Genre: Improvisation
Description:
One of those little "by-products" that accidentally pop out when the mood gets too contemplative during experimental or for-fun sessions.

Since the piece heavily relies on flutes to paint a peaceful picture of the sunset outside of the church walls, it reminded me of the Evensong masses that I enjoyed so much, especially when only a few members of the congregation were present, thus rendering the service a very intimate celebration.

If you liked the atmosphere in this piece, you should keep your eyes open for tomorrow's piece, "Powerful Day, Peaceful Night", which more or less could be a sequel to last year's "Tornado & Aftermath" (see https://www.contrebombarde.com/concerthall/music/38536 for reference).

For those who own a 7.1 surround system, an 8-channel FLAC file can be picked up here to get an impression of what it will sound like in my living room:
