One of those little "by-products" that accidentally pop out when the mood gets too contemplative during experimental or for-fun sessions.
Since the piece heavily relies on flutes to paint a peaceful picture of the sunset outside of the church walls, it reminded me of the Evensong masses that I enjoyed so much, especially when only a few members of the congregation were present, thus rendering the service a very intimate celebration.
If you liked the atmosphere in this piece, you should keep your eyes open for tomorrow's piece, "Powerful Day, Peaceful Night", which more or less could be a sequel to last year's "Tornado & Aftermath" (see
