| Description: | One of the most beautiful Bach cantatas is "Tritt auf die Glaubensbahn" BWV152. Beautiful because of the instrumentation for recorder, therefore I was allowed to participate as a recorder soloist many years ago also in the Musikkreis in the arrangement of this cantata, and beautiful because of the dialogue between the soul and Jesus, which occurs more frequently in Bach, which we will hear in my upcoming upload.
This piece is the bass aria, which comes after an opening sinfonia. In it, Jesus exhorts: "Tread the path of faith". The whole is very thinly orchestrated, nevertheless I have chosen the Friesach organ, because here the voice of Jesus can be depicted very nicely with the Trompette en chamade.
