| Description: | Bach's Fantasia is my contribution to this year's Passion Time.
For me, this profound music is one of the most impressive works of Bach, and verily fitting to this times.
I was particularly inspired by the amazing recording of Andreas Fischer (St. Katharinen, Hamburg), who also presents Bach‘s unfinished fugue for this work in his own very impressive and artfull new version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jApwpBr3GuM
The beautiful Montre 8' of OAM-sample Ebersmünster (Silbermann) fits to the french style and the introverted character. |
