Composer: Bach, J. S.
Sample Producer: Binauralpipes
Sample Set: Lochtum
Software: GrandOrgue
Genre: Baroque
Description:
Passion time - in addition now the beautiful chorale prelude "Christ who makes us blessed".
The voice leading of the chorale melody and the pedal run here canonically, while the middle voices distinguish themselves rhythmically and above all harmonically from the canonic playing. An ingenious move - almost mathematically executed. In spite of all the mathematics in the piece, it sounds comprehensible to the ear of the listener, a little strange but thereby also mysterious .....
Here Bach is far ahead of his time.

This time also with a for me rather rarely used thin registration. Just 3 voices are heard. The positive is coupled with the Hauptwerk, the pedal with the Hauptwerk. In the pedal there is only the Subbass 16", in both manuals one flute voice each. The chorale melody is doubled (it sounds in 2 octaves).
