Myron J. Roberts (1912–2004) — Exultate (Psalm 33:1) (1978) for organ

American organist and composer Myron J. Roberts (1912–2004) was born in San Diego, California and educated at the University of the Pacific and Union Theological Seminary (where he studied with Clarence Dickinson). Roberts taught organ and music theory at the University of Nebraska from 1940–74. He also held positions in Lincoln, Nebraska as organist at First-Plymouth Congregational Church, Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, and the Roman Catholic Cathedral of the Risen Christ. As a composer, Roberts wrote a number of works for solo organ, several choral anthems, and a few pieces of chamber music with organ.
