Hopefully everyone isn't tired of Christmas music yet! I just downloaded and installed the updated Doesburg Surround sampleset which has had "completely new post-processing."

Have a listen and see what you think. I hear more richness and more realism in larger ensembles than before (obviously not on this softer recording). For those of you who download it please know that SP has deleted the Voicing and Tuning tabs where you could change the tone and tuning of each stop rather than going into the HW voicing screen. When I reloaded the Surround sample set, all of my combinations and HW voicing settings were intact BUT changes I had made in the SP tabs were gone. So I had to go back and re-adjust things that sounded different for this reason. (I'm still in this process so please excuse a couple things that are still a bit out of balance for my taste).

I have the new "Pipe Coupling" setting at 90, the Direct at 54, Diffuse at 72 and Rear at 112. After using this sample set since early 2016 I feel it is at its best in sort of mystical, dreamy music with the Rear channels up to give that sense of floating in the acoustic.

If you only feel like listening to a little bit, at least hear the center section with all the strings and Vox, then the last 20 seconds or so where it dies away gradually.

One other thing: SP has made the upgrade from the old version to this new one very reasonably priced. You have to sign in to your account, then go to the organ's order page and the upgrade price should be there. I say this because I got all grumpy thinking there was no upgrade option until I emailed Jiri.
