The tune is identical with the Advent hymn "Mit Ernst, o Menschenkinder".

I had recorded this chorale prelude earlier (https://www.contrebombarde.com/concerthall/music/11955) with an 8’ pedal stop for the cantus firmus. There is no indication of 8’ or 4’ stop by Bach. This recording uses a 4’ stop – is it a better choice?
