I have no training or experience as a harpsichordist, but it is fun to exploit all the possibilities which Hauptwerk offers. I also think it is a good discipline, the instrument is so sensitive to the slightest nuance of timing.
Talking of other keyboard instruments, I have also done some work using sampled pianos (using a different MIDI controller and different software of course). Not appropriate for this website, but if you are interested in the results go to Soundcloud and search 'Geoff the pianist', you will find some pieces by Schubert (the famous Impromptu in Gb), Chopin and Scriabin.
