Katarina Symfonie voor Orgel Uploaded by: ESchoen Composer: Martin Mans (*1965) Organ: Laurenskerk - Main Organ - 1973 Marcussen & Son Software: Hauptwerk IV Views: 692
I've been wanting to record this piece for a long time, and finally found the time to do so. This wonderful symphony for organ by Martin Mans was inspired by the Van den Heuvel organ in the famous Katarina Church in Stockholm Sweden. The work gives the organist the opportunity to demonstrate the range and variety of stops in the organ.
I recorded this on Piotr Grabowski's Giubiasco sampleset. I am impressed with how well this organ is suited to this work!
I've had fun learning this piece, I hope you will enjoy listening to it!
