Description:
Auf leisen Schwingen naht die Nacht,
es dämmert rings, in lichter Pracht
hell auf am weiten Firnament der
Sterne Demantlicht entbrennt.

Wonderfully romantic, isn't it?

In 1895 Heinrich Hoffmann wrote this beautiful song.
An indescribably beautiful melody that effortlessly transforms the text into music.

I have tried to give this melody a dignified accompaniment with a 4-part movement.

We hear 3 verses on the beautiful Giubiasco organ, which with its bright voices fits very well with the melody and text.
