Description: | One of the Roberstbridge Codex Estampies ( http://www.kantoreiarchiv.de/archiv/organ/anonymus_engl/) and therefore the oldest known keyboard music.
I apologise to purists for using the organ's own temperament and for changing registration - but this was recorded for a service and so there was a limit to how purely mediaeval I was willing to make it sound!
I alternate between a Great principal chorus including the very Regally Cromorne and a Swell chorus, with the final statement coupled together. |
